I have a Sony xplod car CD player CDX GT 40 UW and I cannot get any power to it it'll take the CD in and no spit the CD out when you press the eject button. When I hit the power button no power whatsoever somebody please help

Internal fuse has blown. Locate it. Order same. Replace.

I have an 800 watt Sony Xplode amp. Everything looks fine, no red light or failure msg on my radio. It was working fine and my subs were hitting hard with no issues. I just bought it used and thought let's crank it up and see what it will do. It quit producing any sound at all. Again I have power, no red light, or any other sign of problems. Why would I be not getting any sound at all from it? I haven't tried driving another speaker with it yet to see if I completely blew the sub, but I am having a similar problem with a 500 watt Kicker that I replaced with this one.

If your head unit has another set of pre outs try them.

If it ain't turn on at all check your fuse box. It could he a fuse under hood in car under dash. If the fuse is good then pull the radio out. Do a smell test on it. If you don't smell anything suspicous then check your red yellow and ground wire. Yellow being your switched 12v which turns off and on with ignition. Check red wire also. Also ground wire is very important.if none of those work it will need to be replaced. Check fuses carefully. A blown fuse can sometimes be easily missed

Sony xplod xm 2165 1000 way max amp keeps shutting off or going into protection mode. How do I stop that?

Hi nick, there can be many causes for this fault. 1. your speakers or speaker cables are faulty, then this problem will come up. 2. your installation is done incorrectly, or with the wrong gauge of power cables can cause this problem. 3. your vehicle battery could be weak. 4. you could have an internal problem with the amp only, which needs repairs. cheers.

Halo I have a sony cdx-gt500us frontloader it stop pressing and its knobs does not work anymore the power on is now by the cd eject knob and the face doesn't show any words . Any help will help thanks . Anybody who knows anything thanks .

Hi, check all the switches on the face panel, if the switches donot have a "click" feel when pressed then they are faulty.The face panel then needs internal repairs. Also check the gold connections behind the face. Check to see if all the contact pins are clean and shiny, and the same goes for the contact pins on the head unit side as well. cheers.
