How do you round 5,403.264 to the nearest hundred
Assuming you do mean to the nearest hundred, answer the question 'is this number closer to 5400 or 5500?' It is closer to 5400 (The first digit to the left of the decimal point is 'ones', the second place is 'tens', the third place is 'hundreds', so you look at the third digit to the left to round to the nearest hundred)
If, in fact, you meant hundredth, answer the question 'is it closer to 5403.26 or 5403.27?' It is closer to 5403.26 (The first digit to the right of the decimal point is 'tenths', the second digit is 'hundredths', so you look at the second digit to the right to round to the nearest hundredth)
HOW DO I calculate my BMI IN MATH PROCESS
Assuming you are in the USA and use these units:
W is your weight in pounds
H is your height in inches
BMI = W / H^2 x 703.
So if your height is 5' 10" (70") and weight is 180 lbs
BMI = 180 / (70 x70) x 703 = 25.82
So <18.5 is thin
18.6 to 24.9 is healthy
25 to 29.9 is overweight
>30 is obese
How is finding 9.12-4.8 similar to finding $9.12-$4.80?
Numbers can exist in our minds and on paper and be manipulated in their own right, ie without units, or they can be assigned units of something when being so used, eg $, miles, people, dogs, days etc.
So with units assigned all arithmetical operations are usually possible just the same, unless it does not make any logical sense.

9 x 10 raised to the power of -3)
