1.625 rounded to the nearest hundredth (whih what I think you are asking) is 1.63 (provided 1.625 is not a number between 1.6245 and 1.6249 that been rounded to the nearest thousandth already)

Base=6

2nd layer=6

3rd layer=6

total is 18

A rectangular prism is a solid (3-dimensional) object which has six faces that are rectangles. It has the same cross-section along a length, which makes it a prism.

A ratio can be simplified by dividing both sides of the ratio by the Highest Common Factor (HCF). The highest common factor is the largest number that goes into both numbers of your ratio. In example 1 you are asked to simplify the ratio 6:8. Here the HCF is 2 so divide both sides of the ratio by 2 to give 3:4.

Any number which can be written as the ratio of 2 integers, eg 22.5 , which can be written as 45/2. Every finite decimal is a rational number. Since in the general ratio p/q, q may equal 1, every integer is a rational number.

Many numbers do not fit this definition, the best known of which is Pi, or maybe SQRT(2).

The are of a triangle is 1/2 * the base * the height.

So if the triangle is 2 for the base and 4 for the height. it would be (2*4*1/2) or 2*4=8, 8*1/2=4. So the area of the triangle would be 4 square (until of measure).

Of course this assumes you know the base and the height of the particular triangle.

This site might be a bit more helpful for calculations where some of the numbers may not be known. Good luck!

That is too big a task for the Fixya forum here. I'd advise looking for a community college course in your area, or working through something like

1860 is between one thousand and two thousand, and it's closer to two thousand, so 1860 rounded to the nearest thousand is 2000.
