not possible to remove the freezer the most likely [problem is that the seals around the freezer door are not sealing properly that allows the atmosphere into the freezer and the humidity then freezes and turns to ice , causing the problem adjust the door and change that door seal when defrosting the freezer, remove all the frozen food, and place a fan at the open door atmospheric temp air will defrost a badly iced freezer in around 1 hour with the use of the fan on high speed

yes ive seen this before , it turns out that the automatic valve that lets the water in isn't shuting all the way off , something is maybe stuck inside it (no water filter on line ??) also you could just replace the valve too , that works too !!

Check if the compressor fan motor is engaging. If the fan is not spinning then the coil will freeze up again. Also check that there is enough air movement around the fan for circulation. This is also try for the inside fan. Good luck
