just connect the pink wire to the ground wire. some will tell you that a menu will pop up if so just input the numbers 5,4,3,2,1,0 make sure you hear a beep after every number. the menu will look like a hammer icon. im not sure if you have to input the code because i didnt need to

there is two blue wires on the harness one is blue only and the other one is blue with white,use the second one (blue with white)

The unit uses a wire from the back of the head unit to connect to the vehicle wire that sends voltage to your reverse lights. If this wire isn't connected or isn't connected correctly, the head unit can't tell when your vehicle goes into reverse. Most installers don't bother with that wire if the unit isn't being installed with a back-up camera.

Try to find a similar harness and cut out the black wire with the connector intact by using a razor blade or box cutter and insert it into the one that you need. You can also solder the black lead to a wire from the inside and tab it onto the metal case then ground the the case to the vehicle frame if you are technically capable. Good luck.

If it reaeds the cleaner... then try another disc. 20-30 seconds is a long time to looad a disc...
If the new disc does not work either , I would suggest resting the deck .
If reseting does not help , it is still under warrantee. so have it serviced.

make sure your TV module is properly installed ( plug completely engaged )
If it is , then I would suggest a reset of the system .

Feb. 15th the TV will stop working anyways... due to the digital change over...

There is no e-brake override code. You have to hardwire it to bypass the e-brake. Take the peach-colored wire and ground it to metal inside the dash. Put a toggle switch inline on the wire and mount it somewhere you can reach it. When you get the blue screen when starting a movie, open the switch for 3-5 seconds, then close it again to reapply the ground. Your movie will start up, and you can then drive away with it playing.

i had this same problem at first you have to manually adjust the angle with the remote control to fix this.

Check your wiring if you have no ground or no 12v your radio will not work. Most models have fuses in the back check it out and the fuse of the car, if that is not it. well Buy a new one.

ok..and when you use menu, is there an option for stereo and mono, or even more? it's unusual to have this on dvd and not radio..it's an amplifier function, and unless dvd is not sending signal(hence my interests in settings) then the actual mechanism may be shot.
