I'm trying to adjust the time on m Sony CDX-GT100
Try to doing a reset to the unit.
Detach the front panel and press the RESET button with a pointed object, such as a ball-point pen. Note: This will reset the headunit earsing any stored information.
WHY DOES IT READ FAILUIRE ON THE SCREEN
Failure on these head units means that there is a problem with your speaker wires or connections. Make sure you have the speakers connected correctly and that the wires are not damaged. The best way to check this is to unplug all of the speakers (write down/mark how they are connected before you do this) then reconnect them one at a time until failure comes up again. Once you know which speaker or speaker wire is causing the problem you can follow the speaker wire and see if it is damaged. Cheers, Dan
