hay try using a switch like the off and on ones wire it so when it on the unite thinks the the brake is on it should ground i think just make sure let me know how it works

It sounds like you blew a fuse or the circuit relay. When installing aftermarket decks they should be wired independently and on there own fuse. Disconnect power to the deck and replace the circuit breaker or fuse to the flashers

sounds like you have the two wires red and yellow mixed up. you want the memory to be constantly on so then the memory cannot be lost, and the red accessory to be switched on when the ignition is in the on position.The ignition, if on will allow your stereo to begin running.

after inslling my dual xd1225 stero i turned it on and i can here it but it has static over the sound

unplug the reciver from the back of it and wait for 20 sec. and plug it back in, this should allow you to eject. now turn off your car and jush eject, when it opens to eject's push the release button on the back of the face like your removing it but instead force the face to completely go down, as far as it will go. now turn your car on and put a cd in and see if that works for ya.

I fixed this problem on mine by doing some fairly intrusive 'surgery' - the link above is what I posted on Dual's forum describing what I did.

Attach the parking brake wire to a toggle switch and chassis ground. That way you can flip that switch and simulate the parking being applied, released and applied. Then you can watch movies, text, chat, etc., all while you're supposed be to being driving.

You can try attaching the parking brake directly to ground to bypass the issue. However, some systems require a change in voltage each time system is powered down. If this is the case, you can place a toggle switch inline with the parking brake wire, attaching one side to the wire and the other side to ground, allowing you to apply the ground and remove it when necessary.

Check all connections and fuses. Also make sure your speaker can handle the wattage being put toward the speakers and the OHM load. Try a different amp to see if the same problem happens. Sub sinking in when power put to it means you may have crossed the connections Positive and negative to the speaker. Triple check that your connections are correct and your using the correct wire for the job.

try checking the illumination light on the back of the radio if that doesnt work then try looking at the red ignitionswitch wire and make sure it is connected to the 12vt constant (the yellow wire)

Check the radio fuse and the auto fuse

I think the DVD drive inside isn't properly working. Do you still have the warranty on it? If so, return it to the store you got it from, or if the player came with a warranty paper that you have to send to the manufacturer, send that. These DVD drives are in some case IDE (PC) DVD drives, but sometimes you can't replace them with an ordinary IDE drive, as they don't always fit. I hope you can get this issue fixed and that the manufacturer is willing to help.

Since the DEH-P690UB is an audio device, it does not support any video formats.
