Honeywell Power Humidifier: Furnace Humidifier/ Humidifier Questions & Answers
Thermostat problem; Honeywell chronotherm lll ' Low Batt. indicator Keeps blinking after Batteries replace. I chk'd batt. with elect. volt ntr. Was told to pull batt. and change ends with them , letthem stay reversed for 5-10 sec. then put them back in right order,and replace thermostat. No success!
Anyone have any answers

What you can do is try and clean the contacts. Open the door on the thermistat and remove the two screws, after that you can seperate the part that is mounted to the wall and the front panel. Look at the part that is mounted on the wall and you'll see the contacts that should be a copper color. They might be black from age. Clean them and you'll be surprised how well it will work after that.

If the fan motor is blowing out the burner then is there a hole in the heat exchanger

I would check the relay to be certain that it's getting power. That pressure switch is only controlled by the relay controlled by the thermostat.

If there is water and power to humidifier you need a new solenoid valve or humidistat.

Most water panels are generally replaced once a year on flow through humidifiers.

don't know if this will help or not but dip switch 1 and 2 control the flush cycle on this unit. double check how they are set. the setting for flushing every 5 hours is not listed in the manual, but if both 1 and 2 are in the on position it will flush every 5 hours. hope this helps.

the power to your furnace has been turn off. check the switch at the top of the stairs.

Honeywell is a controls company and makes a variety of auto-pilots. If this is a no spark problem,does the lead from the igniter go to a big PC board or a module. If a module, check voltage to the spark module or thermostat voltage to the ignition module. If it comes from a large board, the board may be bad. I'll need more Info. if this does not cover it for you.
