Hi, what you need to do is reset the lamp hours to get the red light to go if it is a new lamp. To do that plug in a source such as a laptop or dvd player. When the display from the laptop or picture comes up go into the menu and reset the lamp hours I had the same problem. Hope this works if not let me know.

Hi, I had the same problem all you have to do is connect something to the projector like a laptop or dvd player so it has a signal. Once the picture comes up of what you are projecting from the laptop or dvd player you can enter the menu and reset the lamp hours. Hope this works for you if not please let me know.

This probably the fan is not cooling down the temperature of the high intensity bulb. Due to overheating the bulb will shutdown. Get a correct specification fan to replace the aging fan.

My Acer PD125projector was working perfectly but has been out of use for 6 months. When I connect it now, I get:- 1. "ACER - Empowering People" screen, then 2. After a short delay the message "The Lamp is approaching the end of its useful life at full power ........." is displayed for a short time, then 3. The initial screen returns, together with a "No Signal" message. After this warm up none of the controls on the actual machine nor the the remote controller, except for the power button, will do anything. What can I do about this?

hey i have the same prob with mine (same model) but it only happens when i send the picture through the rca video in. if i use my pc and use the 15 pin plug, it works fine. i cant explain why it happens, but i jus know it happens.

I had the same problem with my acer x112 , and after checking everything i found out that the problem was the Color Wheel (not necessarily being broken) , it looked new but it was the problem , hope this helps
