What does the Vent/Pull switch do?

Vent allows fresh/outside air to be mixed in with the room air when you desire some fresh air instead of just recirculated room air only.

It is best to allow some fresh air when the temps aren't all that high, or when it's not too humid, or when you have a smoker in the room, otherwise the same old (stale) air keeps getting passed through the A/C.

If you keep the vent closed, your A/C will usually keep the room cooler, as it keep cooling the existing room air and can extract more moisture from that air, which is especially beneficial when it is extremely humid outside. In the most basic description, A/C is really just a dehumidifier with a cooling unit built in, which extracts moisture from the existing air and then chills it to make us people more comfortable.

Electrical cord was accidentally pulled out of ac unit.

Green is ground, secure to frame. White goes to compressor, located behind LED/LCD, lower right corner you'll see a number of other colored wires kind of in a circle, each connected to a 'port'. The black goes behind LED/LCD panel also. Top far right, back corner. 2 ports are connected to a black box..a red one and should b your black one.
GOOD LUCK!

How to replace capacitor on kenmore a/c 25372175200

You need to remove the cover to the unit, then locate the capacitor, this will be either a round or oval looking can with wires attached to it. Mark the wires so you no where they will go on the new one, then take a insulated scredriver and short the terminals by placing the screwdriver over the terminals for a few seconds, then remove wires and install new capacitor.
