Most PC backup batteries are a model cr2025. When you take the side off and locate the battery its stamped on the back and held in with a spring clip. If you pop the battery while the main power cable is in it will keep the bios settings. If not, you will clear the bios...so if the bios is customized especially to boot a certain way it may not boot after the battery has been changed.

try to remove unwated application starts with windw or at startup. it will help you.

I wouldn't worry that you won't get it running without a Recovery Disk.Just wanted to state that right off the bat.You can buy a fresh, new Genuine copy of Windows XP, and use it.Jus sayin'.[Microsoft makes one Master disk. If your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers. Click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the (appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the correct speaker settings there. Click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it. on a desktop computer wear an antistatic earth strap remove the power lead from the power in put on the computer remove the side panels on on our computer you will see 4 screws 2 either side unscrew these then remove the electrical lead and the sata lead remembering where these are located slide the hard drive out then put your new sata hard drive in placing the leads back to there original position then tighten the screws (do not overtighten)

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "FujitsuSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

Try eBay or any computer store. CD's are standard and universal. Just make sure you get one that has the same interface (IDE or SATA) as you have.

It might be difficult to find, but purchase an IDE type drive. Your system does not have data ports that can handle the newer SATA drives.
Ask that the store test the drive, if possible, as it could have been a customer return!

Plug your modem up to your phone line & plug in the power cord. If you are using an ethernet cable its should plug into the modem and into your computer. If you are connecting wirelessly, make sure you card has a wireless network card or that you have a wireless adapter. If it still doesn't work you may have to call you internet provider to make sure the modem settings correct.

The sound of hardware failure is too happy, imo.

Have you tried putting the Graphics card in a Different slot? If you have and it is still not working most-likely it means that your video card has gone bad and needs replacing.

As you have mentioned that you have a desktop PC . So you need a wifi lan card to access the wireless router. Then you can access the internet through your wifi router. You can buy a wifi lan card for the same and go for Netgear GA311 for the same. Hopefully it will help you.

It sounds like a power supply issue or a bad video card.If you have an after market video card remove it and run the video off the mother board.If that wont work look inside and make sure all wires are plugged in.Now if it still wont work.The last thing is a reinstall the OS.

REATTACH LOOSE CABLES ,HARD DISK AND CMOS BATTERY
IF IT DOESNT SOLVE THE PROBLEM THEN REPLACE YOUR CMOS BATTERY WITH NEW ONE..............

use 1 gb ram cards for guaranteed compatibility, 2gb ram cards do not seem to be supported, but they *might* still work.
