Why my dell dimension 8300 audio jacks dont work?

If the on board audio jacks don't work, then go to your local computer store the online store that I like and buy a PCI Sound Card that goes into one of the PCI Slots on the desktop. You can find one for less than $20. The link below will take you to the site. When it opens up just type PCI Sound Card in the white search box and press GO. When the search results return they show the most popular, sort the list down by Price Low to High. Whichever one you select read the details on it to make sure it will work with your operating system. That's the only criteria you need to worry about. PCI slots are universally standard, so if it's a pci it will fit in your pci slot. http://www.tigerdirect.com

No sound

Hello,
  1. Did you have the correct audio-drivers installed on the system?
  2. Maybe the speakers are muted in the audio settings?
  3. You could try to attach some external speakers, such as an amplifier or a headphone to the laptop.
Greetings...

Any way to accsess my data from a computer with no monitor

There is not a simple way to access the data. The simplest way in my mind is to borrow a monitor for a day while you recover your data from the computer. Monitors are not expensive, and I bet you could find a used one dirt cheap. The other way is to remove the hard drive and install it in another computer and access the files there. Best of luck!

I have sahara n1356 laptop

Try following tips:Try to connect your keyboard and mouse directly to your laptop's USB ports (instead of using the USB hub) and see if they still freeze.OR It sounds like you're using an unpowered hub, which in my experience tends to cause most common errors with USB peripherals. It's definitely not recommended to connect any USB devices which aren't supplied with a power adapter (for instance some 2.5" external HDs and those small photo printers). These sort of devices should be connected directly to your laptop at all times. You could also consider buying a powered hub, i.e. an USB hub which draws its power from a separate power adapter (and not your single laptop USB port).if it doesn't work you can try this..Click Start, and type device manager in the Start Search box. Click Device Manager in the Programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. In the Device Manager dialog box, expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right-click USB Root Hub and then click Properties. In the USB Root Hub Properties dialog box, click the Power Management tab. Remove the check from the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each USB Root Hub listed in the Device Manager. Under Power settings, check the 'USB settings' -> 'USB selective suspend settings' and make sure it is disabled. Check Thumbnail, highlighted: Open Device manager, Double click on Universal Serial Bus controller at the bottom, Double Click USB Root Hub, Click Power Management on top right, Uncheck Allow Power... Hope it works for you.

Dimensions

Dell Support > Dimension 8300 Desktop PC > Main Support Page,

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim8300/sm/index.htm

Left-click on - Technical Specifications - in the list.

Left-click on - Physical - in the list.

Height: How tall the computer tower is. Outside edge to outside edge measurement.
Width: How wide the computer tower is. Outside edge to outside edge measurement.
Depth: How long the computer tower is. Outside edge to outside edge measurement.

If you meant Specifications instead;

A) Processor:
Intel Celeron, or Pentium 4, that uses a Socket 478 processor socket.
Either a 533MegaHertz Front Side Bus, or an 800MHz FSB.

(Dell also indicates the Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition processors are supported. Too expensive for what you get in return)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_478

B) Ram Memory:
DDR Sdram that operates at 333MHz, or 400MegaHertz.
PC2700 and PC3200 respectively.

Maximum TOTAL Amount is 4GigaByte
There are 4 Ram Memory slots. EACH slot has a Maximum Amount of 1GB.

C) Motherboard Chipset:

Northbridge chip: Intel 875P. (Part Number Intel 82875P )

(For Intel the Northbridge chip is the MCH, for this particular Northbridge chipset.
Memory Controller Hub)

The Southbridge chip is an Intel 82801EB (Part Number) or Intel 82801ER (P/N)
Commonly known as the Intel ICH5, or Intel ICH5R.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_chipsets#Pentium_4_chipsets

In the chart go down on the right side to - 875P

Looking across, and at the headings, you can see under the heading - Processors, that there are more Intel processors supported, than just the Intel Celeron's, and Pentium 4's.

Core2 Duo, Core2 Quad, Core2 Extreme, Pentium Dual Core, and Xeon.

Problem is they don't use a Socket 478 processor socket.
All except for the Xeon ( 'Zee-On' ) use an LGA 775 processor socket.
Xeon models use a Socket 603, or Socket 604, or LGA 771, processor socket.

It is just processors that the Intel 875P chipset will support.

D) Graphics Expansion Slot:

AGP
Uses AGP 8X graphics cards.
