Can i replace the battery for my philips SA9122
Hello,
its possible for you to change the battery. If the battery is an in-built, you will have the loose/open the player's cover to be able to access the battery.
Also take the battery along as a sample to get another one.
Take care.
Do not know to download songs on mp3
Ok, use itunes software or windows media player.
It's user friendly.
Best to use itunes.
Just import your song in the library then synchronise with your mp3 connected to the pc.

check that you have teh right format of file , this can be done by going onto your devices website and looking up what format your device can take ie :wma , mp3 etc , they are simple to change if it is wrong just go onto the internet and find a mp3 converter or wma converter and convert your music then put this on your device
2GB go gear philips wont upload videos
first off get the arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as its connected, this program will also allow you to download youtube videos and put them on your mp3 player too this should help a bit
Cant reset the MP4 player.
look for a small pinhole on your player, use a small paper clip or pinpush in for 2 or 3 secs. or remove the battery, wait a few seconds
Mp3 not starting
connect it to the system and run "Device Manager"....its available for install in the cd provided alongwith the player....once connected to device manager, goto the repair tab and follow instructions...
Won't turn on
If your Dell Computer is running Windows Vista, it will not work with the Philips HDD series Go Gear.
If it is running Windows XP:
Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.
After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.
If these methods fail, call Philips to see if you are still in-warranty.

Philips 2GB Go Gear wont upload vidoe
You have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert/transfer videos. If the converter is not recognizing a specific video type - FLV, for instance - download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder and convert the videos to AVI format first. Then the Philips Media Converter will recognize them.
The Philips Media Converter is not capable of converting an entire DVD - you will have to acquire video editing software, and then break up the DVD files into 15-minute chunks, and then convert each chunk.
If you are getting a codec error, do a google search for free video codecs - they are out there. Windows Codec Pack and downloading the latest version of quicktime will give you most of these needed codecs.
This player is not capable of playing copyright-protected videos - so don't even bother with them.
Additional information is available both from Philips website and from Arcsoft's website.

How do you charge a 2bg go gear? trued laptip but
Some slightly older laptops generally do not have enough power to make an mp3 player properly function. Make sure the USB ports on the laptop are USB 2.0. Also, the Go Gear HDD series had a proprietary adapter which required you to plug it into the computer and the wall simultaneously. Do you have the proprietary adapter?
