It may be a driver problem,remove the drivers and restart your pc and then reinstall the latest driver again.

hi i also have a i-mate k-jam wiza 200 if you want to format you k-jam you go in the settings and click the tab system and click "clear storage" you k-jam will be completly format and will install a new windows automaticallyI hope this will help

1.press and hold comm manager button and voice command button on the device.at the same time use the stylus to softly press the reset button still keeping the comm manager button and voice command button held in and the following message will appear on the screen:I-mate k-jam hard reset soft reset hardreset softreset. step 2.release the two buttons and press the send button to complete the hard reset.

Solutions
1 check your LCD ,otherwise change it
2 Change your Strip

down grade it to 1.01 both spl & ipl
then unlok it with wizard toll
enable rapi
sync it with active sync but dont bridge any connections with it.
then get rom upgrade utility upgrade it to 2.26 both ipl &spl
there you go its working again
if the sync is not working then turn off the device & turn it on on holding the cam button
disply screen will be tri colour with usb option
thendown grade it to spl & ipl 1.01
there you go .

you can check it with other sim card ,if it remains the same problem ,it may be locked to particular network wont accept any sim card other than the particular network ,you can unlock it and used to other network,try here http://www.prounlocking.com/i-mate/rs8wp8/

You cannot update the system, the only possible updation for the device is to upgrade firmware.
