Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.

Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.

In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.

Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

Reformat it using a computer, probable cause disk error. If the problem is persist try to contact service center.

go into my computer and then open the sony walkman icon at the bottem of the list there then goto the music folder and drag and drop the music you want off of it to your desktop

you dont need any special program here are some instructions for you hope this helps

**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

flip it over and on the back there should be a small pinhole push a paperclip or similar object into that hole and it will reset the mp3 player

goto the sony website and under support there should be a download section for your mp3 player and then you download the software, but if your just looking to load the music to it then you can just drag and drop or use windows media player

There is no authorized Sony repair center in Doha. But you may go to Al Fardan or in Souqe (near in gold souqe and dow round about) and you will see lots of repair shops there. I believe that there's a Sony store in souqe and you may ask them if they have an authorized repair shop around Doha.

I had the same problem with SONY NWZ-S615F. I depressed (with the end of a paperclip) the reset button on the bottom left corner of the player and this solved the problem. Sony warns that using the reset button may result in lost music files, but I didn't experience any file losses.

hey there i have the same problem only difference is mine hasent fell off yet but mines broke while i was simply turning the volume up! and it happened the day i got it...i was not best pleased! lol

How To Import:
*1. press "File"
*2. hover over "Import" and press on "Music File"
3. go to the folder you have the music in
4. select the music file/music files (you can select more by pressing ctrl (cmd on mac) )



*point 1 and 2 can be done with "Ctrl+O" command in sonicstage!!!

This is VERY common in the NWA1200. Don't even bother with Sony, I've tryed its a dead end, but you can still get it fixed. I'm pretty sure FixYa don't allow advertising so please get in contact if you want it fixed: [email protected]
