Check to see if it has accidentally been put on a sleep timer

Check that the connectors are properly put on. In some models of TV sets the connectors are not keyed, and can be inserted in either direction. This would be obviously the connector that is carrying the image data to the screen. If this is not a reversed connector, then it is most likely a firmware issue in the new replacement board. Make sure the replacement board is the exact one required for your model type.

Try to check the power supply output side where anything could came into contact with positive and negative line for which when you press play button then it shuts down.

RCA video cables handle analog signals. HDMI cables carry digital video signals. You need a converter. If you are using a component video converter, check if you swapped two of the three RCA video cables. (There are some A/V projectors that can do the translation of RCA and HDMI internally. Most TVs do not.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (One of my family's TVs used a dongle to condense the analog video signal to a single port, swapping blue and green gave a black and white output, IIRC.)
