HP D330 PC Desktop Questions & Answers
Sound
Your question is very vague, are you having a problem with the audio drivers or the speakers?
I would change the speakers and update the driver to see if that resolves the issue.
Hope this helps

How to open hp d330
The HP site which has your manual is down, so I'll try to help. Most desktop computers open from the left back side as you stand looking at the front. There are two screws that you remove and slide the cover towards the back about 3-4 inches and it should be easily removed.
Covers fit tight so you need to push the cover back hard or hit the cover with the flat of your hand pushing back.
I just formatted my pc and there is no sound and
yes you do, depending on your manufacturer, for me it was dell so they had all the drivers on the site that i needed, you will have to re download all the drivers for it, unless you have the cd all the drivers should be on a few cds like, when i got my laptop from dell they provided copies of all the cds i needed in case i had to reinstall these included:
1.application and utilities disc
2. sound card disc
3.go to the website and get the ethernet card drivers from them unless you still have the cd from the card.
its as best i can put it
and then once the sound driver is installed go to control panel and then click sound and audio and make sure all the devices are being used with the right sound card

How do i find my dial up modem?
On the lower half back of the computer there are slots. Some of these are filled, some may be empty. This is where you will find what are commonly referred to as ad-on cards. On newer computers that have a dial-up modem will be installed using an ad-on card in one of these slots. Most times at the very bottom. There is also a possibility that a dial-up modem is what's know as on-board. It will be located again on the back, in the panel that has all the other on-board devices such as the keyboard, mouse, monitor (if it's on-board video), audio device plugs and usually the Ethernet plug for the cable modem.
Although I have to tell you that most newer computers now will not come standard with a dial-up.
Hope this helps.
When I open my computer before starting the
Is it a progress line that shows how the atart up is progressing?
It may also be a small glitch in your video card. If its not present when working normally, i would not worry too much about it.
