Press F10 several times during bootup. You may then need an administrator password.

If this machine is running XP, or earlier (98, 2000, ME, etc.), beware. It is no longer supported, and hackers will be looking for these machines to infect. I recommend you get a newer machine, or don't try to get on the Internet with this one. The hard drive or some other critical component may be failing, or just the OS or hard drive corrupted. If you have files that you do not want to lose, you could try this... Pull the hard drive out, and use a "USB Hard Drive Adapter" (available fairly cheap online) to connect the hard drive to a friend's computer, and save all the personal files (documents, pictures, etc.) you can to a folder on the friend's computer or an external hard drive. That way, at least you may not lose your files.

I'm not going to go through a list for you, but I can tell that you don't have many options. The HP Compaq Business Desktop D530 uses a small form factor which means you don't have the same space as normal desktop users inside of your machine for the vast majority of display adapters. You would need at least a medium form factor for that.
The other problem is that your power supply is only 185W and can't supply the the amount of power needed for most desktop class display adapters.
The machine you are using wasn't designed to ever be used for gaming, and it shows. You would need to get a bigger computer case and higher watt (around 400 to 600 watt) power supply to support most desktop display adapters.

How many times does the red light come on ? It should blink a number of times, then go off for a little while, and start blinking again. The number of blinks within each cycle will help you find out what is wrong:
Number of 1-second red LED blinks followed by 2-second pause, then repeats:
2-processor thermal protection activated
3-processor not installed
4-power supply failure
5-memory error
6-video error
7-PCA failure (ROM detected failure prior to video)
8-invalid ROM, bootblock recover mode
