I have forgotten my password for my BenQ MP610 Projector.

Question edited for clarity. It isn't a 'Printer', it's a 'Projector'! Question moved from BenQ computers, to BenQ Multimedia. We aren't BenQ, we are Fixya. I forgot the password, is there any way to unlock the projector? 04-07-2020 Due to security concern, it is designed as not possible to unlock the projector if the password is forgotten. The only way is to return the projector to service center for resetting.

BenQ HT4050 orange lamp light flashes after installing new lamp

Sorry I don't really have an answer I had the same issue with a Sanyo I had to keep putting back the old lamp and getting it to start on that one then shut down and swap, eventually it worked, it was a pain. in the end I bought an led projector for the price of a new lamp for the old one

My projector is not starting. power indicator blinking 2 times red.

Presuming it is a Benq? Moved Question to Benq from Televisions category. Lots of references to the section in the manual, but nothing to tell you how to fix it! Seems like it doesn't understand the date being fed to it. After turning off/ shutting down my benq projector a few seconds later it automatically starts up again, I don't know how to stop this from happening?

Model w1080st projector. Why did the lamp explode during use?

Does the cooling fan still work? If the lamp works every time you turn it on, it is unlikely to be the lamp itself. Cutting out on overheat is my guess. This seems to agree, there is a fan underneath the lamp.
