I suggest you format windows and proper installed it. Because Installation time if installed without error ok, other wise HDD or RAM issue found. you may be are far from the access point device or your password may be incorrect.

More usually than not this turns out to be a driver issue... Please tell us the exact model of your wifi antenna , so that we can help you find the most appropriate/latest driver for it (if you do not wish to look for it by yourself...)

Click on the Software & Driver Downloads link. You will then have to select your operating system. Then it will list available drivers and other software that is available.

Usually heat and / or bad sectors on the drive will slow it down.

You should take the desktop outside and with TWO cans of compressed air blow out all the dust.

no it's not bios isuue

your have proble may with folowing devices

1 chack your HDD
2 cahck RAM if when u start and getting beep
3 windows is not working properly u have to repair your windwos

this are problem you have to chack first

The connectors have legends but not labels. You can download this setup poster from HP which shows you what the connectors are for. You should try installing all the drivers included on your monitor. After installing the drivers, you should select the monitor speaker Audio output from your Sounds and Audio Devices Properties.

old PCs do that, for many reasons. but no PC told at all just HP. 40 years of PCs ,10000 + models nobody can guess ever. but I do have the answer, in pure generic form. did you buy the PC like that used and bad Wifi. ?

1. the wifi card is missing, as was super common 10+ years ago.
2. someone put in the wrong card, not from HP list
3. HP blacklists (bios blocks) none HP cards (wifi)
4. the card needs a driver to work if not it is dead or 1/2 dead.
5. the PC needs 1 more driver to make the wifi buttons all work , all buttons related, if not they are dead or act odd.
6. The OS is infected, no OS told at all, not one clue nor if upgraded the OS, and not vast drivers are wrong or missing, (classic)

Im sure this this is not the free w10 upgrade, if it was that too kills drivers dead, for sure HP told you this unstated PC will not run W10 and has zero support from HP, on w10 AS YOUR SUPPORT PAGE WILL DISCLOSE TO YOU AT HP.COM
