You can bypass this termporarily by resetting the waste ink counter as described here:

That link also provides information on how to resolve the more long term issue of further waste ink build up. In short you will need to think about redirecting waste ink flow to an external tank or get the printer serviced to replace the pads.

This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.

Most likely caused an airlock in the printhead which will need several head clean cycles to resolve.

You can not bypass it, you need to reset your printer...

If you are only able to print in magenta you could have used up the life of your printhead. Check to see if you can replace the printhead. Most epson printers have the printhead built into them and are not replaceable you may need to look at replacing printer. Best to have a certified technician assess your printer to be 100% sure.

1. Step 1 Purchase an ink cartridge made specifically for your printer.
   
2. Step 2 Turn on your printer and raise the lid or press the cartridge changing button.
   
3. Step 3 Wait for the cartridge carrier to slide out.
   
4. Step 4 Put your finger behind the ridge on the top front of the old cartridge and pull it toward you to remove. If you have an Epson printer, lift the cartridge holder lid, and the cartridge will pop up for removal.
   
5. Step 5 Carefully remove the tape from the ink opening on the bottom of new cartridge.
   
6. Step 6 Insert the new cartridge into the cartridge carrier. Make sure the new cartridge is oriented the same way that the old cartridge had been.
   
7. Step 7 Feel and hear the cartridge click into position. On some models, arrows will indicate the cartridge is correctly positioned.
   
8. Step 8 If you have an Epson printer, close the cartridge holder lid and press the cleaning button to charge the cartridge.
   
9. Step 9 Close printer cover.

This is a common issue on the Epson, in answer to your first question whether ths system is 32bit or 64bit, this has nothing to do with the printer it is one of those irrelevant questions that companies ask, in this case I would advise you put 32 bit

When ever your printer cleans the inkjets the excess ink is taken down onto this wast ink pad, when it is full it has to be replaced and the counter rest (to tell the printer to start printing again)

I dela with alot of printers, my best advise to you is to go to the following link and buy the product instead of the pad

try to reseat the ink cartridge, that means take it out, re insert the same cartridge if it is with ion 6 months, if more than 6 months, replace it w/ brand new, the ink might dried up already.

follow this:
Press the Setup button and select Ink Cartridge by pressing the / button, then press the OK button. Confirm the messages on the LCD panel and press the OK button to start the ink cartridge replacement.The ink cartridges move to the replacement position.
Make sure that the document cover is closed, and then open the scanner unit.
Open the cartridge cover. Pinch the sides of the ink cartridge . Lift the cartridge out
put it back in the printer.
Close the scanner unit, then press the OK button.

then print a nozzle check

power cycle the printer, meaning pls. turn off the printer, then wait for about 10mins. turn it back on. while it is off check for obstruction or paper jam inside the printer, if none, turn it back on
if the issue persist, that means the printer is already broken

I see the Epson site is a lot of help?When a color stops working and you know the cartridge is new or full you have to trace from the cartridge to the nozzle.The nozzles can be soaked in tap water to loosen deposits,then cleaned with a non metal instrument.Toothpick,toothbrush and the like.You have to look at the feed lines or tubes too,the ink will dry or thicken in them.Last but not least,Epson's site will let you contact them with specific problems.

ALL…. Epson & Brother Requires Genuine Epson Cartridges. !!!!!!!!
That sounds like your problem.

In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4600, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. I also Purchased a Brother. That also does not like Generic Print Cartridges. Color that should be Yellow, will turn out Green, Blue Brown, etc.

These printers have a CHIP that will detect if it is Generic or Genuine. When they see it’s Generic Cartridges, it will print lines thru the words, stripes across the picture and also do a mix match with the colors. It also will not let you print anything, if only one of the cartridges is empty.

I wanted to print only Black, and would not let me, because I did not have any ink in one of my cyan cartridges. Go figure.

That's what these Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges. Some Printers, are able to use Generic, and some are refillable. Some you can refill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.

So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for these PRINTERS. Some people say some models work fine compatible, but not mine.......

I had to replace the printer, but Epson, Lexmark & Brothers are always on sale. My Brother & Epson cost me $50.00 with Rebate. .
