Lift entire top portion of printer--should pop up and stay up on an arm. Ink cartridge will slide to the middle so you can simply pull it out, paying attention to how you remove it so you can put the new one in the same way (after removing the tape from new cartridge!) Supporting arm has a spot where you can squeeze it, to get it to close again.

If Dell did not offer any programs with their scanner then you can download a scanning program that handles PDF files.
You can even use Adobe to import directly into PDF files although it is not the best for scanning

This is due paper pull rollers may having the issue. repair/replace the rollers will resolve your problem.

You are more than likely out of magenta (red) ink. That printer uses a tri-color cartridge, and it has cyan (blue) magenta (red) and yellow ink. Green is blue + yellow-therefore you do have those two colors; since it will not print anything red or black you will need to replace both cartridges.

You can try see if this may do it.

Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.

In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right

Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".

Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".

Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.

Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.

Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.

The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

Bij selecteren van de kopieer functie op de printer zelf, zal slechts een
kwart van het papier worden afgedrukt: het gedeelte dat rechts beneden / voor op de glasplaat wordt gelegd.
De druktoets functie kopiëren op de printer staat op een vast formaat voor foto afdruk 4 x 6 inch (ongeveer 10 x 15 cm).

Support.dell.com has the user manual for that printer, but there are no teardown guides for it. To be honest, Dell doesn't even service inkjet printers, if the printer is under warranty, they just replace it. in your case, I would do the same. The refilled ink cuased some problems with the printer. The damage is done, and trying to fix it will cost you more time and energy than the printer is worth, and that assuming you can even get it to work at all.

Return it! refilling cartridges often void your warranty. Not to mention the cartridges that come with the printer are usually 1/3 to 1/5 filled making you think that the new ones are over priced. Use original.

Along with the drivers for the device you may have installed some program too. Use this program to scan the documents. Alternatively you can use Word or other word processor to scan.

that is done in whatever word processor you use to print the recipe. After you transfer the recipe into your word processor, select all the text and then change the font size... that should do it.

Hi try these steps

STEP: Disconnect and Reconnect the Printer Power Supply
Top of Form 1
Bottom of Form 1

Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
Wait 15 seconds.
Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
Plug the power cord back into the wall socket

STEP: Clean the Contacts and Wick the Ink Cartridge
Ensure the printer is powered on.

Lift the scanner unit.

Open the cartridge latches and remove the cartridges from the carrier
Take a clean, damp cloth and wipe the nozzle of the print cartridge from front to back.
Turn the cartridge so that you are looking at the contacts on the back side of the cartridge
Using a clean dry cloth, wipe the contacts so that no dust or other contaminants are visible
Clean the contact inside the printer with the dry cloth used to clean the cartridge contacts.

Replace the cartridges in the carrier and close the scanner unit.
STEP: Verify Each Cartridge Carrier Has an Ink Cartridge
Check to make sure the left cartridge carrier contains a black or photo ink cartridge.
Check to make sure the right carrier contains a color ink cartridge.
Remove each cartridge and examine it to make sure the protective tape has been removed from the contacts and the print head.
Replace each cartridge in the proper carrier.

Sound like you have something stuck in the paper feed path, check for a paperclip or similar, it may be that you have had a jam and torn off a piece of paper inside the printer which is now stuck, when removing jams from any nmachine allways pull paper in direction of feed never back on itself as it can cause this very problem

scanning is a bit of a trick. You have to have hardware to scan with, and SOFTWARE to receive images. Make sure the scanners imaging software suite has been installed, OR, you can use the scanner manager in windows to scan with. Just select the dell 810 as the "scanner source" and click "scan". that should do it.

id u change / replace the cartridge with original spare or refilled it??
this kind of problem often follows with an unbranded cartridge change and or refilling..!!
it also can be the defective cartridge itself causing such problem..!!
well if u r a professional then just dip a cotton into isopropyl alcohol n gently rub the connector sensor/ contact surface, n reinsert it properly, gently rub on the head too n make sure ink is coming/flowing, make sure the toner is not jammed or dried up, also have a glance on the 'carriage' n see that no sensor pins are broken and or bend..!!
..if u r not an professional, make sure it is properly inserted and the ink-spill protective/head covering is removed..
if all the above fails, then it may b a defective or demo cartridge..!!
and call ur system admin....
