I cannot get the scanner to work.

Sometimes these scanners do come with hardware/software that needs to be installed if you find the serial number/product number on the machine you can find the manufactures software/hardware installations to reinstall the programs needed to use the scanner

I have a dell photo

The power adapter or the power board inside the printer is faulty, if you have a power cord that goes into the machine and it doesn't have a power adapter in the middle of the cord then the unit has a internal power board.

The internal powerboard could have failed, fried or a fuse might have blown, check for a blown fuse and or try replacing the power board in the unit and see if the machine starts up again.

Trying to print on my aio 926 printer but wont

do you receive an error msg saying, printer communication not available?

if yes you can try these steps:


1.Check if the firewall is blocking any printer services 2.Check what port the printer is using (reenable the bi-directional support) and if it's on online mode 3.Disable all the firewalls 4.Uninstall the printer driver and software 5.Delete any items under the ff keys: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-2 HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3 HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet001\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-2 HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet001\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3 Optional*** 6.Delete any non default items under the ff keys: Note: ONLY THE NON DEFAULT ITEMS SHOULD BE DELETED HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet001\Control\Print\Monitors Default items are as follows: AppleTalk Printing Devices BJ Language Monitor Local Port PJL Language Monitor Standard TCP/IP Port USB Monitor Windows NT FAx Monitor ***** 7.Delete any items under the ff keys: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet001\Control\Print\Printers 8.Completely remove drivers by doing the ff: (Option for comm failure because of the upgrade from xp to vista) Ensure there are no documents in queue. Every few lines of print there is a thin white

Go throught he maintenance menu and perform a Deep cleaning of the printer nozzles. This will use a lot of ink so use your current cartridge to do this. Once teh cleaning cycle is complete, replace teh cartridge and align the heads with the maintenance menu selction.
