If this is a grinding noise it will be the gear assembly near the fuser on the printer. You would need a printer repair person to fix this for you.

If your printer is under warranty take it back to the place you purchased it. If you are uncomfortable taking apart your printer, I would take it to be serviced (although that will cost you around $500).

2. update the firmware of the printer.
