Remove water connection and test to make sure you a re getting water to dishwasher. Then check water level sensor these are sometimes a small plastic piece that moves up and down with the water level. Make sure it is not stuck. Some are a stationary sensor that you may need to clean. Next ,I would check to see if you are getting power to the fill valve. Turn on D.W. and check for voltage at fill solenoid which should be right where the water connects to the unit. If you have power solenoid may be defective.

Hi Regina, the first thing you should do is check to make sure the water supply is turned on. Sometimes it will get shut off by mistake when someone is trying to do something else. The next problem would be the fill valve that allows water into the machine,that could be no good. Also check that the machine has power going to it, some newer installations are wired to a plug in cord like other appliances. There may be an outlet behind the machines controlled by a wall switch. Those are the most common reasons for a no water situation. Hope that helps.
