firmware corruption issue you will need to remove that printer from computer screen then reinstall itthen do firmware installation pre upgrade to stabilize(use cd or download of older version of firmwareonce that's done then try the update again which won't work if old firmware is corrupted

Your laser printer has a fuser on it, this device is used to fuse the toner to the paper. This is a consumable item and does need replacing. The error you are getting is requesting you to replace the fuse. kindly remove the the cyan toner and shake it and install it .if it not working then install new cyan toner.

Its clear indication that yellow cartridge in correct or faulty, replace it.No need to replace carousal drive motor.

Other than tec guy are not advisable to do this exercise :Corosol align disturbed,open the printer up to corosol mechanism check rotary swing shaft left and right gears, there are markings which was exactly matching with rotary right & left disc markings. If its disturbed print quality issue will developed. If you have service manual read carefully before opening the printer.. Best of luck.

The toner cartridges should have serial numbers.Call HP and tell them the numbers on your cartridges.

If it's still printing on only one side the carousel is still misaligned.You don't say what you did to realign it. I think that now is the time to get a trained printer tech to look at it.Or else you are going to be realigning it until the cows come home.

If you are a bit adventurous and a bit patient, you perhaps can fix this yourself, and not require any disassembling. It worked for me on a similar 'carousel' unit... hp2550L.

If you look closely at the spot where a toner cartridge slips into a slot of sorts, you might see left side aligned and right side just a little off of 'good alignment' for that slot. What I did is to pull on the top of the black-plastic gear. Pull it toward the center of the printer.

There is a small, white gear at the very top of the black gear (not easy to see at first). By this pulling and bending of the black-plastic gear, you can get the gear teeth free of the white gear --- for just a moment. Just enough for the gear teeth to free-up and find their proper place. It doesn't take much.

When done, take a breadth and relax. Turn power off/on, and try it out.

Please follow the following steps.

1) Turn off the printer.

2) Shutdown the PC to which the printer is connected.

3) Remove the USB/Serial cable through which the printer is connected to the PC and reconnect it back.

4) Now switch ON the PC(only PC and not the printer)

5) Let the PC boot up and login to windows.

6) Now switch on the printer, PC should detect the printer automatically now.
Now you will be able to print.

Take print out of supply status from menu, check the percentage, replace the supply...

Delete all stored fax messiages, check if error persists add any one of memory SDRAM 128MB(C9121A)/64MB(C9680A)/32MBC7854A)

I think that ADF of the printer is causing the issue and requires cleaning. Fortunately, HP Official support has provided the details along with pictures about maintenance/ cleaning of the ADF Unit.

Please find the solution to your problem as follows :-

You need to turn off the device , unplug it for at least 45 minutes and then plug it back in and then switch the device on and make sure that it initialized properly.

If the problem persists then you need to contact the HP support and get it repaired under warranty else it would cost you much as it's a problem related to controller card failure.

You can make your choice after you get the quote to repair , whether you want to replace it or repair it.
