Anyone with information on how to reset the Fuser page count without chanigng the fuser on HP 4730 MFP? The fuser in the unit is in very good condition and replacements are not cheap. Any help would be much appreciated.

Reset the NVRAM should fix the problem. Get the NVRAM reset procedures from HP support site or Google them. Regards, Mike

I had an issue similar to this and it was fixed by replacing the memory dimm on the bottom of the formatter.

Based on age likely the harddrive has failed. Replace drive, restart printer and then setup printer again.

30.1.2= A jam has occurred in the ADF. Recommend action, turn the MFP off and then back on to try to clear the message.
If the message indicates that a jam has occurred, clear the jam, if the message is still there. Check that the cable between the print engine and the scanner is secure..
Turn the MFP off, remove all memory DIMMS or third party DIMM from the MFP (Do not remove the firmware DIMM) remove all EIO device from the MFP. Turn the MFP on
if the erropr no longer exists, reinstall each DIMM and EIO device one at a time, make sure to turn the MFP off and no again as you install each device. replaced a DIMM
or EIO device if it cause the error, if problem persists upgrade the firmware before replaced the DC controller. Replaced the formatter and calibrate the MFP.

Cold reset
A cold reset unlocks menus that have been previously locked and resets all control panel menu items to the factory defaults. A cold reset does not clear the values in the service menu, such as the serial number and the page counts.
NOTE: Before performing a cold reset, print a menu map and a configuration page. Use the information on these pages to reset customer-specific settings.
CAUTION: All HP Jetdirect settings are also reset. Be sure to print a configuration page before performing a cold reset. Make note of the IP address that is listed on the Jetdirect configuration page. You will need to restore the IP address after performing a cold reset.
To perform a cold reset
1. Turn the MFP off and then on.
2. When the memory count appears on the control panel display, press and hold 6 until all three LEDs flash once and then stay on. This might take up to 20 seconds. wait until the machine display gives you the next option this may take upto 2 mins again
3. Press 3 four times until COLD RESET appears on the control panel display.
4. Press 6 one time. The MFP continues its initialization sequence.

There is a slider under the scanner unit or on the top right rear of the top of the printer. switch the other way and it should work. Good Luck

A 59.51 error would normally indicate a problem with the cyan drum drive motor DC controller. First of all I would recommend resetting the printer and unplugging it from the wall for a minute or so while it is off. Sadly if this doesn't clear the error any further fixes would involve cold resets, disconnecting and replacing components.

In which case it would probably be best to call an engineer unless your feeling particularly brave.
