Developer Motor failure 093-320
Hi anonymous,
Sorry for my late reply.
Not quite sure what you want, developer motor failures are not easy to sort out even for the experienced engineers.
You really need the local Xerox engineer who will fix the problem for you. They can be a real strip down job so trying to repair this problem your self could only spell disaster.
if you don't have a contract for your machine then it might be very costly. Your problem might centre upon the actual developer tank in which case removal and fit a new one is best. Trying to repair the tank could prove even more cost if something crops up at a later date.:(
Good luck.
The error 010-311 appeared. i reseated the fuser unit several times. no success. any ideas?
Hi Anonymous,
If you have a spare Fuser Unit I would suspect you install that and try it.
Have you had a jam in the fuser in the past in which case check the paper sensors are working correctly by activating them with a sliver of paper.
I have known the exit sensor to be jammed and only when you remove the exit transfer unit to the finisher will it be obvious.
If that is a but daunting then you might need to call in Xerox.
Good Luck.
Xerox workcentre 3345 paper jam in tray1
If you've modified one of the trays and still encounter the same error, it's worth checking if there are any obstructions in the paper path or if the default paper type and color settings need adjustment.
Remove Jammed Paper From Tray 1:
First, remove any paper from the Bypass Tray.
Grasp both sides of the Bypass Tray and pull it straight out of the printer.
Next, pull out Tray 1 until it stops. To remove the tray, lift the front of it slightly, then pull it out of the printer.
Check for any jammed paper and remove it.
Also, make sure there's no crumpled paper left in the tray or jammed inside the printer.
If you have Tray 2 (optional), check it as well.
Insert Tray 1 back into the printer and push it all the way in.
Fully insert the Bypass Tray as well.
Confirm the paper settings if prompted.
Try your job again.
Power the Printer Off then On:
Press the Power/Wake button on the printer control panel.
Choose "Power Off" to turn off the printer.
Wait for a few seconds, then press the Power/Wake button again to turn it back on.
Retry your print job.
Replace the Paper Feed Roller (if needed):
If the issue persists, consider replacing the paper feed roller. Refer to your printer's documentation for instructions on how to do this.
If the problem continues, contact Xerox support.
