I was updating my dell latitude E6400 bios software but light went off during the process of updating and it's keeps showing invalid configuration

If the power went off during the process of updating the BIOS on your Dell Latitude E6400, it can cause the system to become unstable and display an "invalid configuration" error. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Try to boot the computer: Turn on the computer and try to boot into the operating system. If it doesn't boot, try to boot into the BIOS by pressing the F2 key repeatedly when the Dell logo appears on the screen.
  2. Check the battery: Make sure that the battery is properly connected and has a charge. If the battery is low, it may cause the system to shut off during the BIOS update.
  3. Run BIOS recovery: Dell has a BIOS recovery feature that can be used to recover the BIOS in case of corruption. To run the recovery, you will need to create a BIOS recovery USB drive and boot the computer from it. Follow the instructions on the Dell website to create the recovery drive and run the recovery process.
  4. Try a different power source: If you were using a battery during the update, try using the AC adapter instead. If you were using the AC adapter, try using a different one, or a different outlet to make sure that the power supply is stable.
  5. Take to a repair shop: If the above steps do not work, it may be best to take the computer to a repair shop for further diagnosis.
It's important to note that running a BIOS recovery may cause you to lose all data on your computer, please make sure to backup your data before proceeding.

How to bypass the power pack wattage error message on a Dell All-in-One

There are a few potential solutions to this issue:
  1. Check the power cord to ensure that it is securely connected to both the computer and the power adapter.
  2. Try unplugging the power cord from the computer, holding down the power button for 30 seconds, then plugging the cord back in and trying to boot again.
  3. Try using a different power adapter that meets the minimum wattage requirement of 65 watts.
  4. Entering the BIOS setup, check if there is an option to disable the power adapter wattage check and disable it.
  5. If none of the above steps work, contact Dell technical support for further assistance.

  1. Check for updates: Make sure that your computer is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Sometimes, these updates can fix issues with the operating system that may be causing your computer to shut down unexpectedly.
  2. Check for hardware issues: Make sure that all of your computer's hardware is properly installed and functioning correctly. If you have recently installed any new hardware, it's possible that it could be causing the issue.

Where do I find my server settings on my computer dell opticplex 790 win10 64bit

first off a PC is not a server (sure email server down errors) all email servers fail time to time , in your mind imagine , 1million spammers a second, there KILLLING it .(overloading it)_ and be happy it is not you doing service there. (i never use those I use private email , using my own domain, and never goes down.) email has 2 path ways on a PC 1 web mail (vast browsers) 2 or app client software ,like thunderbird or outlook ,etc. OK gmail not down, thenb what./? my guess is web mail fails using EDGE? no browser told so I guess wild EDGE< (or chrome. or firefox) I use fire fox for decades now zero failures, ever my wild guess is wifi fails as it loves to do so connect the PC to the router, via ETHERNET cable. and see it work for decades and never ever fail. or or upgrade you wifi a real AP , system, like schools uses I use Unifi AP. and is powerful and frankly just works. or get private email that the free junk pay for it. best is paid, not free,. free causes stolen personal info, and exploitation . and win, google that 3billion hits. or buy your own domain name and pay for it here. cheap/ end the cycle of pain get your own domain, no web site needed just the account. the in Cpanal create lots of email there. even 100 if you want and all auto transfer to one email account. if you want and works web mail and on with my great free THUNDERBIRD. sporadically means what?, 1 time per day or week or year? or ask them? we are not gmail and if down , on 2 PCs Gmail is down. (wifi good) as easy as that.

I have a Dell PowerEdge T-300 server running Windows Server 2016. It had been working fine up to a month ago. The server would suddenly freeze (halt) and had to be shutdown and restarted.

This is basic troubleshooting. First without any information, when is the last time you cleaned the inside of the computer, and do all the fans work? I once had a computer start doing this, it was from over heating. Let's start there. It could be one of thousands of things that have gone wrong. Next, is there a reason why it was not updated? I am not a fan of frequeny system updates, but sometimes it's unavoidable.

Dell Inspiron 17.3 inches display, 7720 SE display switches off randomly?

Dell Inspiron 17R 7720 Special Edition Laptop NO OS told at all how sad is thaT? 10 year old today, the big battery that old is NO GOOD. came new w7 or w8 and did you upgrade to w10? (is a go) drop the battery off the bottom fails now on AC power only? hummmmmmmm so easy to do that first... did you? batteries are no good this old. and short or overload VRM inside. oops. it is not a DISPLAY or MONITOR AT ALL IT Is a PC LAPTOP Well the screen goes blank and the PC os is not set to sleep mode? or (w10?)_ set to screens saver mode,. does the screen fail OMG in bios PAGE 1 held there.???>???? BIOs screens do not sleep ever, see that trick power on, hammer esc, and go to prompted page 1 of the bios if these test fails the screen is bad or the PC overheats. THE CPU SHUTS off if too hot at 90c. all do that. and is normal if allowed overheat, even laying on blanket or bet. we can run HWinfo32. for free and see the CPU overheat no need ever to rip off the heat sink cooling pipes. bios fails or does not, that is a binary path to the truth./. fails bad screen or overheats (or other causes even huge battery shorting (gee remove it first and run on AC power only) bios does not fail that means windows 10 is messed up, corrrupted or simply set up wrong ... easy no using just fingers , and HWINFO32 free and safe. or the display drivers are not from get them load them. the only drivers that work and are not INFECTED are here w10 too. if only windows 10 is mess, bios works all day. install the w10 drivers, from the disable all sleep modes if still fail do the dell recovery or reload w10 the hdd must be tested and i see you did via F12. the PC does not fail in BIOS is a windows problem or boot to any Linux demo media, and linux runs all day then windows is a wreck, and the cures are tedious. (all sleeps off) or reload w10 did you now windows has reset (ms dot com read) and has w10 to w10 inline upgrade mode? <<< amazing fact, even no data loss. and goes to day1 settings Instead of wild expensive guessing next time ask for help and lots of free tests to do and not go broke and not suffer long down time. and learn to use Hwinfo32. see cpu temps. and more. learn that CPU slows down before the last step, the CPU shuts of at 90C (by DESIGN and saves it;'s own bacon every time!!!) newer GPU do the same thing and newer SSD , yes the same thing NOW. learn and how to sees that at any time with a free app. all PC sleep , if allowed, if the wake from keys are dead, that too fails. just turn off sleep to prove that. if sleep is hard stuck push power button for 10seconds and that magic intel ship resets and power turns on now. amd or intel the same way. any good tech knows all this.
