the drives must not be erased or empty. and must have and OS installed? and not fail S.M.A.R.T testes or is useless if does.
so did this PC ever run before, your eyes? or bought it DOA.?

no display make nor model told if it too is 2005, the CCFL back lamps LCD are dead, making black screens for eternity and now.
the PC CMOS coin cell is dead. must be replaced for new.
most HDD this old are dead.
try new HDD and coin cell and working monitor
try loaded fresh OS on the tested and working HDD.
a new SSD is better.

When I put the DVD/RW into my computer with windows 10 the audio is bad? Do you have a fix??

did you put w10 on some old DELL PC (desktop or laptop)and dell told you ZERO support on this PC:? DELL>????????
the cause is simple
1: bad dvd drivers. (w10 wrong for this PC or failed to get them from dell.com. for this exact PC) unstated.
2: wrong codecs, run VLC free, end it.

drive not bad
so is SW problem and classic and common as nails.
even wrong PC sound/audio drivers loaded or missing from dell.com
if a desktop what GPU card is there
and what sound is this.
- internal speakers.
- external speakers, 3.5mm or USB or optical./coax sound.?
- usb phones.
- 3.5mm ear buds (3.5mm TRS plugs)
- monitor speakers bad, or drivers to them wrong, is this HDMI sound to monitor failing.
- I can do more but will stop.
Add subtitles to a dell webcam video
If you convert it to a .MKV you can create a subrip format .srt files using notepad and then merge it into the video using MKVtoolnix. It is probably a .mpg file like my Samsung and Canon cameras so MKVtoolnix can load it and out put it into a .mkv format container without recoding it since .MKV supports that codec. You can the .srt during conversion on in a second step. I would recommend using two step to avoid or correct any errors since you are unlikely to syncronize everything correct the first time.
You can see samples of the structure of the .srt text files at the wikipedia page at "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SubRip". It is a very simple format and it's a text file not binary so it's easy to create your own from scratch.

not your country told and that tells me your region code. for PC.
I'm region 1, and only buy them, here, in a brick store .
most dells can be forced to wrong regions say 6 times, the locks in.
but not external drives, what you see is what you got.

never post about DVD unless first say I live in xyz country or say I live i region 1, and buy disks from EU R2 and they fail, so that be normal.
