No it has Integrated Audio.
The term Sound Card is a misnomer of sorts, that has been used by those who review computers, and those who have no idea of what they're talking about, and relay it to the general public.
Just like stating a Graphics Card.
It is a Sound Adapter Card, and a Graphics Adapter Card.
A circuit board with either an Audio chipset, or a graphics chipset soldered to it. (GPU)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPUA Sound Adapter Card, or a Graphics Adapter Card is removable.
Integrated Audio, or Integrated Graphics is not.
Integrated Audio is a audio chipset that is soldered to the motherboard. Not removable, or replaceable as an FRU by a general repair tech. (Field Replacement Unit)
[The chipset is soldered in a BGA. Ball Grid Array. Takes a BGA Reflow Machine)
Chip and Chipset are slang terms to represent I.C.
Integrated Circuit,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_CircuitThe Audio chipset manufacturer is not stated, but it is probably an audio chipset manufactured by Conexant, or RealTek.
Aplogizes for the 'long winded dissertation', but I despise someone just stating, NO, and not explaining why.
