Casio Exilim Card EX-S600 Digital Camera Questions & Answers
How to recover the accidental deleted photos?
You can often successfully
recover deleted photos from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted. When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead. If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned. If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it. One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some file recovery software. Recommended this data recovery as it saved my life many times.

Connecting to the computer to take off pictures?
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa (

I have the ex-s600 camera and am very happy with
Remove the battery and make sure the contacts are clean. It might even be sufficient (for a while) to just remove the battery and put it back in. If that works, you should clean the contacts.
The next step is to try another battery. If you can borrow one from a friend with the same model, do so. If that charges, your battery is bad. If it doesn't charge, ask your friend to try charging your battery in the other camera. If it charges, then try borrowing the AC adapter. That will help isolate the problem without spending money. If it goes this far, post a response on your results.
Does not turn on
I would say that if you can take pictures it is just the lcd that is out on your camera. If it is not allowing you to take pictures all the time then there maybe a lens error. You can send it into repairs and they will tell you what it would cost to fix it.
Ex-s600
Casio isn't going to sell just those parts. They are going to make you send it into them to be fixed.
Battery light does not light. Help!!
If the charge light doesn't come on at all that is normally a charger error and we would have you send the charger in to be checked. Call repairs at 800-706-2534 option 2 and they can tell you
where to send it.
Charging Camera
I would test the docking station first. Do you have a way of charging the camera without using the docking station?
Thought I'd ask because some can and some can't.
Casio EX-S600
Try out your "Best Shot" modes and see if you have a high sensitivity mode on that model. It works great for low lit areas. Other than that there isn't any kind of "auto light" that I know of on that model.
Lens on Digital Camera won't r retract
Send into Casio Repairs. Call them at 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 1. If you have to lie and tell them you already talked to tech support otherwise they will try and tell you to call tech support and they will just tell you what I just did. LOL
Can't reload photos back to camera
you need to make sure that you have the software Casio put out called "Photo Transport". You can download that from their website then all you have to do is drag and drop you files into the camera. This software allows the reverse communication needed to transport back onto your camera.
Help with photos from computer to memory card
Since you have the easyshare dock, I'm going to assume you have the camera too. The easiest way to do this without buying additional equipment is:
1. put the desired memory card in the camera, and the camera in the dock.
2. Windows XP should recognize the camera upon being turned on, and assign a drive letter to it (found under 'My Computer')
3. Put all desired pictures onto this drive (your camera)
4. Done! The photoframe should automatically detect and play the pictures that you put onto the camera.
Camera possessed?
There is obviously a connection problem between the camera and the dock.
Is it possible to recharge via a normal charger.
I don't think you will get a repair- unless it is a young camera with some warranty left
Cannot charge camera
BAD BATTERY. if it is less than one year old they will replace the battery for you. Contact tech support and give them your contact information. They will require you send in your battery and give you the address to send it to. Then they may be able to send you a replacement free of charge.
