My camera just stopped working.

Your batteries have worn out. They don't give enough power for the camera to switch on properly.
Replace the batteries. Use 1000mAh or better batteries.

Benq camera . Zoom out of the camera no longer operate and emits sound as if there is something aperture of the lens ..... Please reply disadvantage , and how to fix it

Hi Beshoui, I believe your zoom lens is not extending when you power on. In most cases like this, there is likely a foreign body (sand) or similar objects lodged between the lens tubes or the camera has been subjected to a knock (dropped, bumped against a solid surface) that caused the lens tube to miss-align. All you need to do is: 1. as you switch on the camera, give a little knock/ tapping with your fingers around the lens. 2. if that fails, apply a little pressure to the sides of the lens ring while powering on your camera. Lets hope that will help to dislodge the foreign body or the lens tube miss-alignment.

Where can i find an firmwareupdate for benq dc c850

Please. When an electronic device is start acting strange, a software update is the worst thing you can try to solve the problem. Updates are only allowed if the system is working without an error. If it is not working correct, you can't be sure it will load the update correct and you never know what happens when the update is started. For every update there is a condition, the electronic needs to work perfect and the battery / power supply must be capable of delivering enough power during the whole update process. I'm sure there will be no update for the Benq camera.

How to unlock locked card

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Camera hang

Always when your camera acts strange, switch it off. Wait a few seconds, till you are sure it is not accessing the memory anymore. Then remove the battery (ies). If possible first charge the battery (ies) Than replace the battery and switch on the camera. If the error comes back, you have to assume something serious is going on. In which you should contact a service centre or repair shop.

Hi, the issue is with Batteries. Please replace the Batteries of same specification in order to use the Digital Camera. The Photos in the Memory Card is powered by USB as the Power Source from your Computer and not your Camera's Batteries. So please replace the batteries with new one.
