Downloading is an issue

You shouldn't need flash player to download pictures...

Your digital camera's storage device should show up as a disk drive on your PC when it is connected. You should be able to just manually browse to your pictures as if you were browsing your C drive.

If your camera does not show up as a new disk drive, you may want to get a card reader (20 bux or less) and use that.

The software that comes with most digital cameras is notoriusly flaky.

The settings on my camera screen are all mixed up; malfunctioning

Your best bet is to try and find a way to reset your camera to factory default settings. (check the owner's manual)

I did a bit of searching, but the directions are very specific to camera model, and I couldn't find the exact directions for your model camera...

How to delete all images from camera card of Sony DSC-T5

Don't feel like digging around for the Manual, but have you tried:
Menu- (press down twice) to Memory Stick Tool- (press right) to Format- (Press centre button) to OK - then confirm Formatting the memory stick?

I imagine this would reformat the whole stick, deleting everything on it in 1 go. Alternatively... you could just delete them all via connecting the camera to your PC...

Digital Camera Turns oFF,While viewinq pictures or while taking 1

hi...ensure that the camera is turned on. If applicable, ensure the lens cover has been removed before taking pictures. the LCD backlight is turned on by pressing the DISPLAY button several times until the screen appears. Depending on the camera model, the DISPLAY button may be labeled as DISP or with a display icon. This button could be a standalone button or it depends upon the camera model..... If operating the camera with a battery, ensure the battery is fully charged.
Ensure the battery is inserted properly in the camera.
If operating the camera with the power adapter, ensure it is plugged into a working AC outlet.
Ensure no Audio/Video (A/V) cables are connected for viewing pictures on a TV; the LCD screen will not display when an A/V cable is connected.
Perform a reset procedure on the camera....

Someone dropped it and now it won't turn on.

Hey hey matt,
I would try resetting the camera to the factory default setting. To reset the camera remove the batteries for at least 15 seconds without the ac adapter connected and then reinsert the batteries. If this doesn't work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician such as bringing it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

Sony DSC T-5 Cybershot

I called Sony, did what they said, and now my camera is working just fine...no more blurry pics. Go to menu, click arrow right, click arrow down 3x till you get to "Setup 1," click arrow right scroll down to "Initialize," click to right, select OK, press center button. This initialized everything back to default settings and now I don't have blurry pictures anymore.
