Memory Stick Formatting Error - Sony Cyber Shot DSC T-20

I have had the same problem. Contact your camera via USB to your PC. Click on MENU. You do see "USB Connect" and "folder" at the bottom. Make sure that it stays on "USB Connect" click on round button in the middle and you will get 4 options. It probably stays on AUTO. Select PTP and see what happens. Adobe Photo Album started up and I got to see the pictures till the moment that the stick got the format error. I lost a couple of pictures, but got a lot back.

I'm not sure what the problem is, however realized that if this happens again. Shut your camera. Start it up again. Go into MENU, SET UP, Memory stick tool, chnage Rec folder and create a new. This way you keep the folders smaller and do not loose that many pictures.

I hope that it helps.

FOCUS PROBLEM

So... there's poor focus, and there's shutter speed.

If the light is very low, the shutter has to stay open for longer to allow enough light in to make a bright picture. Suffice to say, if you move around while the shutter is recording, it will record you moving around, and it will look blurred. That covers the concert you went to. Just use the flash. The camera will know it can use a very fast shutter speed if the flash is going to go off.

As for the person in the background thing... if they are the only blurry thing, then it's the same as above. If not, try this:
Check your camera setup menu... you should have focus options. Most toy cameras have an auto-focus that can focus on multiple points in the shot, or one point only, or even by face recognition these days! Try using a "spot focus", one focus point in the dead-centre of the shot.

On this setting, it shouldn't matter what is going on around your subject, the focus spot will be in the centre, where you are aiming it. =-]

Motor runs continuously

the magnification motor cannot find its home position at this time, causing a erratic operation, soon enough the motor will wear up and would cause you more damaged. you need to take this to repair center and either clean the sensor or replace the home positioning sensor

cheers
