I have error code e106 on my 733 hp camera, whatis that?
CausesThese errors display because the lens will not move. There are several reasons why the camera lens might not move:
- something is blocking the lens
- the firmware version is old
- the camera has been abused
- foreign material is inside the lensor
- the lens is loose or completely off the track
SolutionFollow all of the steps listed below.
- Perform a power reset on the camera.
- Turn off the camera and remove any optional memory card.
- Hold the ON/OFF switch in the ON position until the HP logo displays and then disappears.
- The camera is now reset. When the camera is turned back on it should prompt for the date and time.
- If the camera does not display an error after the reset and appears to be functioning properly, it is imperative to check and update the firmware. The firmware update corrects the lens positioning issue that can cause E104, E105, and E106 errors with the camera.Determine if an update is needed by following the steps below to check the current version of the firmware on the camera:
- Before turning the camera on, press and hold the Flash button.
- While the Flash button is depressed, turn on the camera. A Service Screen displays.
- Located at the bottom of the screen is an entry, F/W.
- If the version of the firmware is lower than 1.12, then the firmware update is required and should be performed immediately.

What is the meaning of warning battery exhuasted?
It means the power left in the battery is almost nearing minimum and further it may lead to dead condition. Please charge it as soon as you see this warning message else it may lead to degraded battery life or will not get charged when you charge it with the charger.

My lens will not retrack
Your previous diagnostic definitely indicates a mechanical problem,
once the possibility that a false sensor signal to the main board as the cause
by resetting all functions. It is very likely that there is a blockage or a
broken internal part that is preventing the correct positioning of the lens
which triggers the shutdown and error display.
The
links below give additional step by step DIY instructions on troubleshooting and
attempting to fix this problem. A Canon camera is used to demonstrate these
procedures but, the lens structure of these compact cameras is the same so the
examples do apply to this unit. These procedures are effective about 60% of the
time. Click on or copy and paste the links into your browser. Pay special
attention to the opening statement at the first link if there is any chance of
warranty repair.
Check this links for
additional details that could

Additionally, here is a video of the normal power up
sequence of the camera and there other moethods:
1. Here is
the first alternate method
2. Here is the second alternate
method
Hope helps.

I have an HP Camera
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If that doesn't do it, try another card.

I NEED TO FORMAT MY
plug the card into your sd card reader slot on your computer, if you don't have the slot you can buy usb card reader. Your computer will recognize the card as a storage device, you can format it there or you can delet and/or copy photos from it to your computer, much quicker than by using your camera

Hp m425 lens error
Hello
Thank you for using FIXYA!!!
This
is a suggestion. If you do not feel comfortable trying it, you will need to take
the unit to your nearest service centre. Feel free to let me know if you
need any assistance.
The problem might be that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair centre for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.
You can also have a look at THIS link.
Hope
the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need
any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you
found this helpful.
Regards
Andrea
