bought a dead PC?
ran for 12 years and died just now? out of the blue fails.?
if it fails dead cold, it is not overheating while cold, so if yes, we work the dead PC cause (and batteries do not last 12years ever)
it's 12 years old, 2008 made.
and needs service any PC that old ,
- it is full of lint inside, causing the vents to be pack, the fan packed up and the RAD packed up.
- a shop knows this and cleans it all out. \\
a dead laptop, out of the blue, failed, even cold the screen fails
remove the large battery .
1: shut down the PC, using the power switch.
2: remove AC power pack. cord from PC, jack
4: remove the
big battery (now bad) using the 2 bottom latches.
5: put back AC cord to PC, and test the PC now. like this.
6: hold the power button for 10full seconds and release if he PC ever fails to run on easy. this is called the intel reset. 10sec.
now expect the E-mchinne bios
splash screen logo screen.
and then you hammer F2 key to enter bios screen #1
if data is worn in BIOS the Coin cell cmos battery is dead.
as is expected this old, for sure. and must be replaced
BIOS must work, windows is always last. get this far we can do more. ask.
Coin CELLS:
When the below
RTC is dead it can not be ignored and BIOS goes nuts with it dead. it must be replaced, live span is 5-7years
10 is outlier max. replacing at 7 year means not having down time
just what you need it the most.
real photo not fake actual model real.
