Cooling Fan does not work so after a short while the laptop trips
Hi have you tried the fan on another socket usually more than 1 fan connector on a mobo, it may not say cpu fan but at least it will check the fan. If the fan is duff then a repalcement will be required. If you take the fan to a computer shop they should be able to test it for you and most likely for free.

Microphone not working
You may not have selected the Mic in the setup procedure. Go to the lower right and where the icon for a speaker sits, right click on that. When open you have options and open one or more of the options to select mic. input and mic output and/or volume.
Buzz when start
BUZZ ? The so called buzz can be either the CD ROM spinning when you start up or the cooling fan. Other than that, the only sounds could be speakers, and/or the hard drive. Hard drives when making noise usually CLICK over and over with no booting of the operating system.
Loose charger connection
If it is the power pin on the laptop itself then it could need a repair or even replacement, sometimes it could be the ac adapter plug that connects to the laptop that has worn and it simply needs a new ac adapter, either way it will need replacing.
If the power pin is part of the mainboard then it can be re-worked, but sometimes they cannot and it will be a mainboard replacement, good luck.
