check to see if its plugged in to the outlet and to the back of your sharp. some wall plugs are on a switch.

(1) OF THE CASSETTE PLAYERS IS STUCK ON THE TIMER

This a memory problem ,try to look for the reset button and press it . If you can't find the reset button then the other option is unplug the unit for 24 hours the purpose is to reset and dessipate or drain the charged current .
