My monitor is not showing red colors? how do i fix

There is a number of possible reasons why your monitor lost the red color. A good guess, however, is a broken cable or connector. Check the plug and socket of the cable for bend or broken pins. If everything looks OK, try to change for a different cable.
If the problem persists, a pin of the connector soldered to the PCB internally may be broken. This is an easy repair for a service technician but I really recommend you do not do it yourself.

I have a dell 19-7 fp monitor that only stay on

The problem can be caused by bad caps in the power supply, bad inverter circuits, or bad lamps. You need to open it up and look inside and post back so we can guide you further, see example of failed monitors here: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

My screen develops some ghost images after powered

well you are correct and when it come's with the lcd monitors it is known that when a pixel is subjected to same amount of charge for a long time it might retain the residue of charge even after the amount is changed so this reason why you get this problem and in order tackle this just try to use some changing screen savers or just turn the monitor switch off while you are not around it.

good luck.

Monitor Problem

lower right hand side are some monitor setting buttons.

They should let you configure your brightness and contrast, also sharpness.

One button may do an auto fix.

Also in your win control panel click on display, advanced. and set your resolution until your happy with the picture.

Height adjust for Dell UltraSharp 1907FP 19" LCD Monitor

Is it stuck, or just not adjustable? Try setting it on a phonebook. I'm kidding. If it is an adjustable base, sometimes they need a little downward pressure before the button will depress and allow it to move upward.

Thanks,
Chris

Where can I find an on/off switch for my Dell

sholmes, Try Digikey.com or Mouser electronics. You WILL match it up exactly and may need to do some tricky "unsoldering" and "soldering". Good luck! YOU'RE on your OWN. 12fixlouie.

DELL 1907FP MONITOR

There were no screws on the back of my monitor so that was not an option for me. I figured I didn't have much to lose, so I took a very thin and small screw driver and pried the on-off button right out of its socket, which does break it. To the left, inside the hole, you can see where a tab on the button pressed against a small circular inner button. I pressed that with the screwdriver and the monitor turned right on. I replaced the button for the sake of cosmetics and will never touch it again. If I leave the monitor for any extendd period of time I will simply unplug it.

How to remove "no composite inpute signal"

If you have the same problem with both monitors, it sounds like a display card setting or problem.
The chances of you having the same problem with different units is 1- 50.
Try the monitors on a different PC and get back to me.

Resolution wont resize properly

Try resetting your monitor to the factory settings. If that doesnt work I suggest you unistall your monitor in device manager Only if you have the monitor cd. If you do not have a cd to your monitor you can always download on the internet. These two options should help you but if they dont go ahead and come back and repost your question.

I have a Dell monitor model 1704FPT,, seems like the power button has come loose inside.. Can I get inside to repair it .. Thank you

You can turn counter-clockwise the screwz at the back cover of your monitor to open it & check if the power button is loose or defective, even notice if some internal part/s are cold soldered / defective. However, if it's still under Warranty, I recommend to bring the unit to an authorized service center for a Free service check-up & replacement part/s. best regards
