Can’t get from analogue to digital on my Panasonic viera tv
Have you done a channel scan? This can take a few minutes but it locates and lists all channels If you've not done this already, go into your menu, channels and be sure to enter the receiving input whether it's antenna,cable, or satellite, start your scan and see what channels you're receiving. Panasonic plasma th-50px77u has sound but picture flickers and goes black after sometimes playing for short while but also black when turned on. is problem fixable simply or will need new tv?
Everything is fixable, but it is a 17 year old set, with old technology. In these days of Internet connectible, Smart televisions with 4K picture quality, you would notice a big difference. I would say you have had your moneys worth out of it. Its up to you, service centre, or a new one.

The 7 flashing lights can mean either a dead/damaged SC board or a dead/damaged SU/SD board, the 5 blinking lights meant the power supply board was faulty, possibly damaging elsewhere.

Hello, first of all, congratulation for your website. My panasonic 42" with TNPA5390 and TPA5330, was resume from 7 blink led after replacing these components: TNPA5330 Q421,Q422,Q423,Q401,Q402,Q403 D401 POWER SUPPLY TNPA5390 Q300,Q301,F102 After these change I got 6 LED blinking. After replace the Q531,D421,IC502 The TV was ON for a few hours now again 7 blinking LED. This time, NO previous components are in fault. I noticed that on SN2 connector I do not have Hight voltage and Q300, Q301, F102 are OK. I have checked also the 5V (C561) and 15V (on TP82) near the connector SN20 and I read both. What you suggest ? Thanks and regards
You have already gone way beyond what most people would try in order to get that item working. The next step is to get a FLIR camera and see what areas are getting hot and a magnification device to inspect all the SMT devices on the board.
