Try to unplug the unit and use a metal screwdriver and place it on the prongs of the plug touching them together. This should bleeddown any capacitors that may be holding voltage. This should release the latch assembly. Hope this helps.

Most oven door seals, in fact all that I know of don't need adhesive. There are clips that hold them in place or door has to be disassembled to install.

The oven has internal fan at back of oven encircling the element that should get reshot when stat turned up high. Also there is cooling fan under lid to keep the wiring area cool.This should stay on for around ten - fifteen minutes after cooking finished. David "The Famous Forry"

E118 indicates a comma error. You could check for loose connector block or plug on ribbon cable. Best course of action is to call a Service Engineer.
