TV won't power on
Sounds like the bulb is not firing. I have the 44 inch model. Like it too. It is normal for the power indicator to blink for a minute or two AFTER the set has been turned off from running. get a phillips or panasonic TY-LA1000 bulb or a P22H 120 watt one if you can remove the old one from the housing (not very hard to do).

How to fix the optical engine
Usually they cannot be "fixed" but are exchanged and rebuilding takes place in a controlled environment---seen several techs take them apart and end up having to replace the entire unit anyway. Some of these Panasonic sets only sell the chassis and no parts.

I replaced my lamp three
The lamp LED flashing every 5 seconds indicates a ballast(lamp power supply) malfunction. Checking the output(DC) at the pins (from which the two thick wires that go to the lamp) would help you confirm the problem. You must replace the ballast to resolve this issue. Let me know if you wish to do it yourself so that I can find you a replacement.

I changed the lamp on
Hi,thanks for posting your Question. Issues involving lamp are some times complicated..but it's resolvable..
First when you replace a new lamp, chancing are very slim for it to work properly..When you replace a lamp,if the lamp is not the same as the formal one,it will malfunction and not make the TV function properly..
So you need to be sure that the lamp you replaced is the right one for your TV.
And also when resetting the lamp,if not reset properly, that might affect the TV too..Resetting the lamp has to be done by the manufacturer of the lamp.(pansonic )
You can also check the convergence IC (STK IC),and see if it is OK,and check if there is any leakage from capacitors, might need re soldering.
Take care and Good luck...

I have RED verticle lines
Hello
Check and replace the main filter capacitor in the power supply section. Replace all of them in the secondary section of the power supply too. The problem is due to insufficant smoothing and regulatio fo the power supply section. If main smoothing capacitor gets value deveoped, it won't supply enough voltage to the switching section, and switching section also will go inefficient. Replace all of them. It won't cost not much. OK.

Just replaced our blub in
jlamina19,
You could have a bad optical engine, but first try this tip. Remove the lamp assembly again and make absolutely certain that everything is inserted and seated correctly. If this does not help you may have damaged your optical engine when the lamp quit. They can get very hot before failure and this could have damaged one of the TFT panels. I have a tip to explain how to change the engine at
http://www.fixya.com/support/r4251975-replace_dlp_light_engine.
Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Hi, I was wondering, after
Best bet is to unplug the set for 10 minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on. That should reset it or at least allow you to work your way through the menus.

Have a Panasonic PT-52LCX65-K projection
If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem. If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured. You can search google for parts or you can get the parts with repair instructions from sites such as
