Braun Tassimo Espresso Machine/Coffee Maker - Page 9 Questions & Answers
Tassimo
Mine sometimes does this but cleaning the barcode reader at the top of the machine (small glass panel) fixed it.
Also make sure the water container is seated correctly. If these dont fix it try pushing the water container left right/back front while there is a disc in the machine-mine has started to only work if I push the fitted water container backwards when "brewing".Its out of warranty now so I will make do until it breaks completely.

Water leak
From experience in your model and also other espresso machines there are many possible points that you may have the leak. The pump, boiler, volumetric dozer, water/steam valve are connected together with Teflon pipes and supports at the ends with the clips and one "o" ring. In one of this point the clip can slip out so the Teflon hose to be loose and so the leak. There are also some cases if the machine is more that 2-3 years one of the above parts to leak itself due to tearing out and it might need to be replaced.
So you need to remove first the top panel and then the side panel and work the machine with extra safety since we have power wires and with visual check to find the point of leak.
If it is just the Teflon pipe and clip slip out the secure it back again, if it one of the part you can try to tight up and if the leak insist then you need to replace it.
The milk pods do not fully empty
The problem is with the air pump motor. You need to take it apart and then clean the diaphragm and the air passages in the plastic housing. You also need to clean the tube from the pump to the multi valve. The air pump is located right in the middle above the water pump. Mine was white in color. Remove the electrical terminals and note location. There are four plastic tongs that need to be carefully pride apart then the unit can be cleaned. After cleaning return the motor back together and the machine should be working fine again.

How do i get the red light to go off on my coffee
You have to ensure the descaling function runs completely to the end.
Occasionally the water tank will be empty BEFORE the descaling program
has finished, in which case you should refill it and let it continue
descaling.
The light wiill automatically go off once the descaling program has been
fully completed.
