Tv have problems with it 2 backlight buffer boards,like to help the tv Plasma screen panel to stay consistantly lite with same brightness.Take ur tv back where u bough it.Trade it in for another tv this tv have deffective and dying backlight buffer boards.

Hello The problem of your television is cause of faulty power supply.The power supply have abnormal voltage output supply because of leak capacitor.If you want to fix the problem of your TV,this is the procedure,First is remove the back cover and find the power supply.You can see the bulging tops of capacitors,thats the leak capacitor.Replace all new capacitor with the same value.Avoid short circuit in PCB board of power supply.If you can't do the to repair, call a technician or repair to authorized service center.Thanks..

Check input with other known good source. If still not working replaced the main board. panasonic call it the A board.

Must go into the tv Menu go to OPTION go down and pick VARIABLE setting for output for extrenal speaker system.It should not setup on Menu OPTION setting on FIX setting,tv will used tv speakers system only.

Its video out card has the trouble. Video out section has an IC which controls the plasma screen pixels. This card is responsible for variable brightness as well as contrast; in fact, control over picture on the seceen. There are two possible faults can be occur to this section. The first one is supply voltage variation to the board. The second one is IC trouble itself. There is no replacement option to this IC; as it is machine pressed. Only card replacement can be done. If so, there are so many service mode adjustments to be done with this after card replacement. To check the supply voltage vairation too; good quality multimeter with frequency counting facility is needed. In fact, this is not a user repairable one. Get it repaired by any well experienced service technican, or by authorised service center for Panasonic. OK.

It indicates you've set programs to watch or record from the TV Guide.

Count the # of blinks then call tech support.

this indicate an overload in the power supply..... ther some leacky caps. or regulator on it. quilified technician can only indentify it.

the VIERA TH-65PV500 has a lower refresh rate than most lcd and led tv's which will cause some ghost images to appear on fast moving images and can not be fixed

Blinking error code has an specific corresponding parts malfunction.
4-10 blinking error indicated a malfunction to P-Board(power supply) and to A-Board(Main Board).
It is better to be specific on how many times does the led light blink to determine the exact caused of the fault but for sure now that the fault came from either P-board and/or A-board.
Since the unit is only 2 months old, it is under warranty period. I would advice you to avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Don't attempt to open the back cover because it will void the warranty.

In that case all you can do is connect each device you're connecting to the television to the surround sound. You would connect the device to the television for video only and connect the sound cables to the surround sound. Hi, one of three boards are the culprits. SC, SU and SD boards. (Y sus and the drivers). Possibly but very very rare, the panel could have blown those boards out.

This may sound silly but do you have anything like a jukebox with neons, novelty lighting, plasma ball or even low energy lighting without a shade or diffuser on it? these can have strange effects on some IR control systems (my cable box used to do strange, random things and when the engineer came out to look at it, he told us to put a shade on the light and turn off the plasma ball and the weirdness stopped!)
