Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To cancel the stored ID code you’ll need to enter the preset (old) 4 digit ID code. If the wrong ID code is entered, it is not possible to cancel the ID code function. To reset the previously store IC code you’ll need to touch and hold until “Completed!” is displayed. The ID code canceling procedure is completed. The unit now works without an ID code.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Hi,
According to the manual, there is not "default" security code.
You will have to contact the MFR for support.

However chek this link for manual...

OR
Hold the right track button to the right or 10 seconds and it works.
Thanks for contacting fixya.com

Had the same probem with my Avalanche. Electroncis store wanted $180 for harness. I ended up running new wires to the speakers and bypassed the amp. Stereo sounds awesome. Make sure you remove the stereo amp fuse.

If the car had sound with the factory radio prior to the installation on this unit, then the problem is probably a factory amplifier. Some systems simply need the blue remote wire hooked up to turn on the amp, but others require adapters while others require the amp to be bypassed. Post the year, make, and model of your car, and I can try to help you determine what you need to do next..

Hello

some known hacks for panasonic are posted on this website
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks

see if your model is listed and try some of the things that are posted for the other models and see if you can unlock it. But its rare to get it to work this way.

Welcome to Fixya! The only way to get this Code is to Contact Customer Service for Panasonic and Give the Serial Number and they can tell you how to Reset the Head Unit. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

During code request mode,PRESS AND HOLD THE SKIP UP SWITCH >>/ for aprox 20 sec and will see nothing on the screen.
That will clear the security code.

do you have subs? if so you have your amp wire to close to the RCA cable it interferes with the signal they have to be at least 6in away from each other or on the opposite side of the car if that does not work then idk check the hook up....

Panasonic... | Answered on Oct 01, 2008

It might be overheating, there is a fan in the back on the cdplayer, it might have went out, or is fully of dust.

Panasonic... | Answered on Mar 10, 2008

Be sure to check your gain outputs on your amp it may be the case.

Panasonic... | Answered on Feb 11, 2008

I know this will be hard, but if it displays stuff, go to the menu and under user setting try changing the tilt.

Panasonic... | Answered on Dec 08, 2007

Ive had that happen to mine, just go to the user settings and adjust the tilt.
