What do the symbols SY and CF on a Electrolux fridge door mean?
5Y CF indicates a communication error between the refrigerator control board and the user interface (display panel). When the refrigerator was powered up, its self-test didn't complete properly. The wiring harness, the user interface or the main control board could have damage. Make sure that all of the wiring connections are fully seated first and then check the individual wires for continuity. Then you have to check the user interface and main control board by testing and replacing them. If your refrigerator is under warranty, get Electrolux to send a technician to test the refrigerator.
I hope this helps. I may be able to find a parts diagram if you add a comment with the model number of your refrigerator.
Electrolux tridge ete4200sb-r alarm keeps going off
has been activated. Check for ice forming on chill panel, if so may be low on gas, or may have defrost issues.
Chest freezers are a bit hard due to cased cores are not accessable and once issues start it impossible to rectify.
Hope that was of some limited help, sorry.

Electrolux icon fridge door alarm won't stop
The door alarm goes off when the door is shut. Reset the alarm and it will repeat in five minutes. The door seal looks fine, the latch on the main body which I assume detects the door is closed has no effect. I powered down the unit with no effect other than the LEDs don't come on now.
Want to know operating pressures on a 134a refrigerator low and high
Maximum efficiency is achieved when there is the greatest difference between high side and low side provided the low side stays under 30 psi or so. The low side pressures must stay low enough to cause the refrigerant to change states in the evaporator. If you see frost on the compressor suction line, there's too much refrigerant, and you'll overload the compressor. The correct approach, if you have the equipment and it sounds like you must have a gauge set but you need recovery to do this right, is to evacuate the sealed system, (a tight system will hold a vacuum overnight, but an hour is a good test if you suspect any leaks) and refill with the exact amount of refrigerant (by weight) as indicated on the ID tag.. Any system that will not perform when filled to that specification has either a bad valve in the compressor, or a restriction caused by contamination. Contamination is usually from moisture (humidity) introduced into the system by improper servicing, but is usually relieved if the system is under vacuum long enough to boil out the moisture. If the compressor is the culprit, it's usually game-over.
Electrolux EI23CS55GSI - Water Dispenser Will Not Stop Running

Electrolux freezer motor runs continuously Should it motor turn off when temperature is reachd
The motor should cut in and out as controlled by the thermostat. Assuming your freezer is actually working and is cooling down, try the following. If you turn the thermostat down you should hear a click and the motor should stop. If there is no click before it gets to the lowest setting then either the thermostat is faulty (so won't cut out) or the freezer has not dropped to a temperature that is registered by the thermostat (it is too warm). A faulty thermostat is indicated by excessive freezing because it doesn't know when to stop the cooling process. A freezer that is too warm means the cooling process is ineffective and may, for example, require re-gassing.
