You will have to make an observation to see if the fan motor is working or not. If so then you will have to checck the incoming voltage to the fan motor so as to confirm that the fan motor is faulty.
If so the recurrance of the fan motor could be due to water condensation into the motor which is not suited for the purpose.
If the fridge is under warranty this complaint must be made to the delearship for a possible manufacturring defect if the fan motor has failed again, so that a new version of motor is installed that can withstand the conditions. ..

Hi,
You will be okay as long as the garage does not go below freezing. If the fridge gets that cold it could start to have problems.

Hi,

As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer2_bing.gif and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed
and PLEASE give a Thumbs Up for the effort. The Raz Shack

you have a clogged defrost drain. when y our unit goes into defrost, the water that is supposed to go down a tube from your freezer down to the bottom outside of the unit, into a pan to evaporate, instead is going into your fridge etc. This drain needs to be cleared. I would not recommend doing it yourself, you may cause further more expensive damage.

If the fan motor shaft is smooth with 1 flat spot the hub on the blade probably has a hex set screw that can be tightned with an allen wrench. If the fan motor shaft is threaded there should be a nut holding the blade on. Also yur motor bearings could be going bad causing vibration which damages the fan blade.

Sorry but I know nothing of the new-fangled fridges and freezers with their codes, but what does tend to stop an appliance that otherwise works well is a lack of cooling air around the motor/compressor unit and when the unit works harder during the summer or in the depths of winter when the heating is full on the thermal protection can cut power to the unit.

Cleaning dust and fluff, ensuring all the power connections are clean and tight and not generating heat and ensuring there is adequate air space between the wall and the unit.
