The vacuum stopped working while

Sometimes the vacuum will overheat, if this happens the vacuum will shut down to protect it from damage.

Unplug the vacuum, and let it sit unused 30 minutes.

Please let me know if this has solved your problem.

Oxygen 3 will not turn on

This is often caused by a failure of a fuse on the Sumo board, or occasionally by a failure of the cord reel. I just posted a rather extensive set of instructions on how to check these things as a response to a different thread, but I will repost them here:

--
There is a board in the back (called the "SUMO board") which has a fuse hardwired to it. Most of the "no go" problems with this machine are related to this.

In order to check it, you'll want to take a thin flat-head screwdriver, and gently pry up the silver panel on the top of the machine. The easiest place to do this is on the side of the panel, as far toward the rear of the machine as possible.

You will then need to remove the 2 Torx screws on the rear panel, and the top body of the machine should then be able to be removed. There are two clips in the bag chamber, directly under the back portion of the bag compartment lid, which can be pressed in to facilitate removal of the back cover.

The sumo board will be sitting directly on the top of the machine, and the fuse in question will be on the right if you are looking at it from the rear of the machine. Unfortunately, if the fuse is blown, you will have to replace the entire circuit board. (Unless you feel very comfortable with soldering a new fuse onto it, which I do not recommend for safety reasons.)

You can also check continuity of the cord reel from here. On the right hand side of the board are two spade terminals leading to wires running down into the cord reel assembly. One black, one white. Checking the continuity between these terminals and the ends of the power supply cord will allow you to determine if the cord reel is providing power to the machine.

Accessing the cord reel will require you to remove the six Torx screws holding the main body to the base. Two of these are on the rear of the machine, and are very deep inside; so you will require a very long-shanked Torx driver to get at these. Two more are inside the bag chamber at the rear, and the other two are on the front handle assembly. This will allow you to lift the main body away from the base, and if you are replacing the cord reel you can pull the wires from the spade terminals and the socket on the sumo board, and feed them back down into the cord reel chamber to remove the old cord reel.

Reassembly is simply a reverse of the previous. Beware, however: getting the cord reel to align is something of a chore, so make sure that you have the retraction system functioning before you put the whole thing back together, or you'll be bummed when you finish reassembly and the cord won't retract.
(I've definitely never done that. Nope. Never.)

Hope that helps, good luck.

This sounds like an overheating issue. The motor is most likely protected from heating, some use the airflow through it for ventilation and cooling the motor. Then there is a thermal circuit breaker.

My electrolux oxygen vacuum wont go and i suspect power supply to the motor or the motor itself

The silver cover is a pressed in panel... (so called "three minute job".. hazardous, quite DEADLY voltages will be UNCOVERED.. use EXTREME caution) and requires pretty good pressure to get it off... enough where a careless move can damage the cover. Carefully: Look at the back of the panel: there are two 1.25 inch (approx) wide slots. (just imaging a battery flap on a cheap remote controller) If you can gently introduce a blunt end putty knife into the slot and firmly push it straight forward (toward the hose end (there is a plastic friction tab at each outside end))... with a lifting action you will see the panel start to lift ... you will be able to see the tabs if you look closely. Insert your thumbnail on the much stronger corner and pry upward (this requires a lot of force and the corners are the strongest area... breaking the cover is very possible) Once the silver cover is off you will see the two T20 Torx screws. Removing them will only loosen the back end... which you should -exercise some caution here... that LED bracket is loose and all the weight is on the wires of the LEDs. Now set the Vac on in the upright position (nozzle to the ceiling). Complete release of the top is done by opening the bag compartment and pushing a through the red rectangles in the upper hinge wall. These are latched tabs and will easily lift once the tab is pushed in enough (try not to gough or mar... rememeber it is only plastic). Both the bag cover and the back cover will lift. Leave the bag cover and gently negotiate the back cover from inside the handle. You can now see the big board SUMO (suction motor control board )... If the glass fuse is not blown... and there are no obvious soot marks... Take it to the VAC Repair for a free estimate.. They'll tell you it is the hose!! (which is indeed the biggest failure point of these machines). Hose slip rings can be inspected <dust & lint>and cleaned (PLUS ruined... Highly likely if you don't get the contacts back in their respective slots) by one screw on the wand end... or three screws on the control/handle end (inside tool carrier recess).

Electrolux L E Canister stopped working

It sounds like it may be a bad control valve assembly, which is found inside the machine. This part is controlled by the dial on the top of the vacuum and does wear out eventually. If you've got a clean bag in the vacuum, this is the most likely cause. There may be other things that could cause the problem. This is a repair that needs to be done at repair shop, I recommend one that has personnel trained in repairing the older style Electrolux vacuums like yours.
