This is just a shot in the dark, but if there is no "reset" button, you might try unplugging it for a couple of minutes and it should reset itself to factory default settings. Just a guess. If you have an owners manual, I would check there to find how to solve the problem. You might want to enter the "menu" if there is one, and discover whether you can solve the problem there. If you don't have an owner's manual, you might be able to find one at the printer manufacturer's website in the support section.

To enter the service mode on the 3220 just press "additional functions" key then press 2 and 8 at the same time then press the additional functions key again. Be very careful what you do in the service mode as you can mess things up quickly if you change the wrong settings.

This is telling you that you have a faulty capacitor, and it is in need of replacing.

This is always caused by a scratch, gouge, or a little raised "Lump" on A/The Drum. Or a raised up bit of stuff stuck onto a roller, the drum etc, this is what make lines such as this, give all surfaces a good clean looking for this protrusion, or gouge in one of the rounded surfaces. This should sort yopu out.

You may try this torubleshooting. Depress the Additional Function key, then the 2 & 8 keys at the
same time, and the additional function key again. This will display the service mode menu. Touch the Copier key. Across the top of the screen you should see " Function ". Touch it, look for CLEAR in the middle column. Touch it, then ERR, then OK. Turn off the copier and wait a few seconds then turn it back on.
